"Against the Sea"        Print# 44803      This was taken at Arcadia State Park, Oregon. I've shot there often but have always had a hard time getting an interesting shot of this rock. This evening, the tide was rushing in and when it would retreat, I would run up, set my tripod, get my composition and exposure settings and hope I still had time to get the long exposure before the next wave came barreling in. This particular evening I was trying to stay dry, though I usally don't worry about that too much. I still went home a little wet, but hey, it's all part of the fun! This was a 10 second exposure and is a composit photo, with the sky being from a shot a little earlier in the evening.
